first you need to make sure that you have fastbuild3/firearms3/huldra3. Then you need to use in the fight drone/mannin/wolf according to your lvl3 skill. Also- make sure that you have ammo, medkits, and potions for the fight.
if you still have problems with the fight, join the discord server and it will be possible to check more throuly where is the problem
merge the chapters from the start- you need to drag all the files from the chapter2 (2.09) folder into the chapter1 (1.87) folder and replace all the files that are the same, and then start the game from the merged folder. like shown in the ch2 installation guide

hi, after merging chapter2 (2.09) into chapter1 (1.87) you launch the game from the combined folder (the folder of chapter1 that chapter has been merged into). you will know that the merging worked if after launching the game, the version of the game in the right bottom corner of the main menu shows the version of the lastest chapter you merged.

The fights in alfheimr will get you fitness- 1 from kirk second missnion, 1 from anders second mission, 1 from anders conversation, 1 from ralf second mission, 1 from tyr's second mission. some conversations can give you fitness too without combat. you should join the discord server of the game since its easier to answer there

Hi, the dialogs are really great. Just a bit of advice, would it be possible to add another layer of the menu in the gallery, like showing the thumbnails first, it would be tiresome to go through all the pictures all at once when the gallery becomes really large.

usually the problem is just not merging the content of the patch (the 2.09 version) into the main game (the 1.87 version). when you get a new chapter you need to copy it's content into the folder that has the merging of all the previous chapters.
unlike other games which get small updates monthly, this game is split into 9 big chapters and is being released one chapter at a time. for me, this way of updating is more assuring that the game will be developed till the end. each chapter feels like a full game by itself and gives you many play hours, and you will most likely play each chapter more than once (the prologue is much shorter than the chapters). the chapters end in an appropriate way, and the story keeps flowing smoothly between them. developing and releasing a new chapter takes about 2 to 3 months normally.
the price of the chapters is pretty affordable, so my advice is to buy the first chapter and see how it works for you. the first chapter is more focused on crafting than the next chapters, but it gives you a good idea what to expect of the game.
you should also join the game server on discord, where other players can help you if you get stuck, can ask questions and see info about patches of the chapter that is currently for patreon backers only and will be released on itch in the future.

the poles and stones in the wilderness are not connected to any cg, it is just a small puzzle. the discord server is open for everyone, the link to it is between the link to the patreon page and the download link. you should ask questions about the gameplay there :)
np :P chapter2 got extra scenes near its end for anders, jorgen, jostain, erland and henrik that need certain amounts of relationship points with them to trigger. if you need, ask for help in the spoiler channel for chapter2 in the discord server (or search for it in the history there).
So I am getting very frustrated. I made the Treated water to give to Tyr at the Depot and I can never trigger the event to give it to him. Is the raid on the depot always going to occur or is it preventable by getting the water to him. I have managed to complete every other side quest but this one and there do not appear to be any more cut scenes at any location. I simply avoided the fight at 'Delivery' and got to the end of the 15 days but I'd still like to know how to complete that side quest.
Hi I'm probably doing something wrong but I've tried three times to play chapter two but is gives me a notepad error message. I still have my 1.8.6 saves and I put them in the same folder as 2.09 (I even went in and manually copied the saves from 1.8.6 to the 2.09 files but it's still not working)
in case that you didnt solve it yet- you are supposed to copy all the files from the 2.09 into the 1.8.6, not the other way. your saves are in another place completly, you will have them even if you download the chapters 1 and 2 again. also, people on discord cant know the servers that you are in unless they are in the same servers.
